I think I found my new "happy place..Tulum! This winter seemed to be never ending in New York City so I decided to get some sun and recharge. We decided on Tulum, Mexico. It totally surpassed my expectations. The beach was beautiful and the weather definitely cooperated. The food was exceptional and the hotel was perfect. We stayed at BeTulum.
The hotel was right on the water and all of the rooms were definitely casual chic. The vibe at BeTulum was extremely chilled with exceptional service. It would be difficult not to relax. The other beauty of Tulum is if you stay on the the main strip, taxis are plentiful and on average $5. The only downsize to Tulum is that most restaurants do not take credit cards...pesos or dollars only.
